I live in a small town in Assam. The municipality has provided water taps in my neighborhood for the marginalised which sit right next to a secondary street. Whenever i walk past it i see men and women filling up their buckets while chatting away. Since it is adjacent to a secondary street it is used by a number of people irrespective of which economic strata they belong to hence it maximises interaction between people across communities(their conversations ranging from a casual hello to what to do ab the flooding drains). I have made lot of acquaintances because of this water tap and now whenever i pass by i give them a nod.
